The students in 1ài started a graphing unit and have been learning about different types of graphs and what they can be used for. They began my making single Venn diagrams. They learned that single Venn diagrams can only be used for questions with 2 possible answers. Then they began to explore tally graphs and bar graphs which can be used to ask questions with multiple answers. They students finished the week by making their own tally graphs with questions they created. Next, they will learn to turn a tally graph into a bar graph. Have you seen any graphing at home?
